Commitment
Protego aims to provide equal opportunity in employment, associate engagements, work allocation, development, pay and access to our services. Decisions are based on the requirements of the role or engagement, relevant capability, conduct and performance.
Recruitment and engagement
- Role requirements and selection criteria should be relevant, proportionate and stated clearly.
- Candidates and associates are assessed against the same published criteria at each stage.
- We do not discriminate because of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or another status protected by law.
- Reasonable adjustments are available during recruitment, onboarding, employment, associate selection and client delivery.
- Personal relationships and conflicts of interest must be declared and managed rather than allowed to influence selection or work allocation.
Working environment
Harassment, victimisation and bullying are not accepted. Concerns may be raised with a Protego director and will be handled promptly, fairly and as confidentially as the circumstances permit. No person should suffer retaliation for raising a concern in good faith.
Monitoring and review
We will review recruitment and engagement practices for avoidable barriers and investigate patterns that may indicate unequal treatment. Information used for monitoring will be limited, protected and handled in line with our privacy obligations.
Next step
Start with a conversation, not a proposal.
Thirty minutes. We will tell you what we would do, what it would take, and whether we are the right firm for it.
